Advanced Manufacturing in Hawai‘i: Convening the Future

On November 18, 2025, Pacific Impact Zone (PIZ) hosted Convening the Future: Advanced Manufacturing in Hawai‘i at the Topa Financial Center in Honolulu. The fast-paced working session brought together innovators, educators, technologists, investors, and mission partners to shape Hawai‘i’s next steps in advanced manufacturing.

Instead of traditional panels, participants moved through interactive activities, small-group sprints, lightning showcases, and real-time share-outs designed to identify the people, programs, and assets ready to advance the state’s AM ecosystem.

Attendees connected across sectors, contributed ideas, and helped surface priorities in areas such as workforce, markets, dual-use opportunities, and local capabilities. The session concluded with a “Consensus Pulse” to gauge who was ready to lead and take action moving forward.
